Pumpkin Brownies with Brown Butter Frosting: Ella and Annie Magazine
These fudge like pumpkin brownies are super yummy and the brownies only have two ingredients! I found this recipe on cookies and cups and just had to try it. I decided to change the frosting to a brown butter frosting and they turned out delicious!
1 box brownie mix
1 15 oz can pumpkin
1/2 cup butter
3 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Combine brownie mix and pumpkin. Mix. Pour mixture into a 9×9″ greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
To make the frosting, brown the butter in a saucepan on medium to low. Make sure not to burn. Add the butter to powdered sugar, vanilla and milk. Mix with an electric mixture until smooth and creamy. Spread over cooled pumpkin brownies.
