Crockpot Chili with Cornbread: Ella and Annie MagazineWith a family of 5, making dinner can become a challenge 7 days week. Crockpots just make it a little bit easier. No better time to bookmark this recipe than with Fall right around the corner. Chili is one of my all time favorite comfort foods.


2 lbs ground beef, browned
2 cans of chili beans, chili ready
3 oz tomato paste
1 bell pepper, diced
1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
1 packet of ranch dip mix
2 cups beef broth
1 teaspoon pepper
1-2 teaspoons coarse salt

Cornbread mix w/ boxed ingredients


Brown ground beef. Place in crockpot with remaining ingredients. Cook on high for 6 hours. Serve with cornbread!
You can also cook on low for 8 hours.
